- Lienchiang County Health-Care Volunteer
- Lienchiang County Bureau of Public Health actively invites enthusiastic and dedicated residents to join in on the health care work to safeguard residents’ health. First batch volunteers in Nangan, Beigan and Dongyin towns totaled in 85 persons in year 2003. 63 finished elementary courses and held volunteer certificates. To ensure volunteers’ benefits, Bureau of Public Health covered volunteers’ accident insurance and expected to recruit volunteer for Juguang Township so all 4 townships and 5 islands of Lienchiang County have trained volunteers. This year we have completed the foundation training 3 times, spiritual enrichment seminar 4 times and volunteers’ annual social activity.

- As director had said： ‘a single drop of salt can make a pot of soup heavenly.’ Volunteers are the single drop of salt and make the health care work tasteful. Even when we give just a little, our society becomes a much better place. We sincerely hope the volunteers’ enthusiasm and dedication will fulfill Lienchiang County’s voluntary work with promise and energy.
